Naked i campaign and Glenn Lim event
Wednesday, 20 February 2008

thank God that He saw us through the distribution and the Glenn Lim event! since the beginning of this academic year (aug 07), the campus ministry has been gearing up and preparing for the Naked i campaign, and when the time came to distribute the magazines a la DVC, everyone put in such effort and enthusiasm, that it was quite touching. for me it meant that the crusaders know the reason and significance behind giving out the magazines, and are showing it by being personally involved in the distribution.

it was the same for the Glenn Lim event. even though the turnout was less than i had expected, it was encouraging to see the non-Christians who came on the invitations of their friends, and even some who came on their own accord. i thought Glenn gave a wonderful and insightful account of his experiences and of how God changed him and gave him a new chance in life. through the responses of those who filled in the feedback forms, everyone enjoyed the session, and there was even one who suggested that the session could be longer!

i pray that the naked i campaign will not just be an end in itself, but a means for Christians to open up topics of love, sex and relationships with their friends. hopefully through sharing these topics, the Christians will have opportunities to share about their beliefs and faith. i thank God also that i was able to be part of what God is doing in this campus. as my final year draws near, i'm actually filled with excitement, as i see His plans unfold before me. =)

giving thanks at 13:25 :)
